Made from a mix of yak, alpaca and merino wool, this knit has a lofty and hairy texture. We love the colour and heathered effect of this yarn which comes from the natural undyed fibres; therefore reducing dye and water usage in production. This boxy silhouette cardigan has decorative pocket flaps and statement pearlescent gold-rimmed buttons.

    Sustainability

    Why Choose Merino Wool?

    • Wool is a natural fibre produced by sheep who consume the organic carbon stored in plants and convert it into wool. At the end of its useful life, wool quickly decomposes in the soil, releasing valuable nutrients into the ground.
    • By wearing wool you can enjoy its many performance benefits: great thermal properties; breathable for maximum natural comfort; and keep warm without overheating.
    • Our merino wool is certified Pure New Wool, meaning that this wool has been used for the first time and is not blended with any other fibres.
    • Our merino wool meets OEKO-TEX® standards, driven by sustainable practices and transparency, which enables responsible decisions and protecting natural resources.

    Why Choose Yak?

    • Yak has all the amazing qualities of Merino wool with the additional benefits of keeping you even warmer and being more durable due to the tighter structured fibre. The Yak animal has a lower impact on the planet compared to other wool-providing animals; when grazing they only eat the tops of grass instead of destroying the root as well as having an efficient digestive system, leading to reduced greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

    Why Choose Undyed Yarn?

    • The yarn quality used in this style optimises the natural colour of the animals it comes from. This  also means that there is limited water wastage and no dyes released into the environment.
